Marina Tronin

Family Law Associate

Marina is an associate law with a vast array of experience in family law. Marina’s advocacy includes representing clients in high conflict parenting cases, support and property disputes in court, as well as through negotiation of domestic contracts. As an adjunct to her active litigation practice, Marina works with families to develop unique and collaborative outcomes that fit their objectives.

Marina’s prior experience involves working at a boutique family law firm in Ottawa, as well as a counsel role with a child protection agency. She is experienced in preparing adult and minor adoption applications, fertility contracts and openness agreements. She has appeared at the Ontario and Superior Courts of Justice as well as Divisional Court and represents clients in mediation and arbitration.

Marina represents clients in all stages of child protection proceedings including: negotiations of Voluntary Services Agreements and Temporary Care Agreements; representation in court defending Protection Applications and Status Review Applications, as well as general independent advice on communication with the child protection system in Ontario.
