Associate

Margaret is an associate specializing in family law and residential real estate in our Ottawa office. With several years of experience, Margaret is passionate about helping clients navigate life’s major milestones — from purchasing a home to resolving family law matters with care, clarity, and confidence. She strives to combine legal expertise with empathy, open communication, and practical advice to guide clients every step of the way.

Margaret completed her undergraduate degree in Criminology with a concentration in Psychology before earning her law degree from the University of Leicester, England. She went on to obtain her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Law and Technology from the University of Ottawa.

Margaret began her legal career at a boutique firm focusing primarily on family law, and later joined a mid-sized practice in Ottawa where she focused exclusively on real estate law. She is now excited to combine her expertise in both practice areas, with a deep commitment to client-focused service.

Outside the office, Margaret’s life is lively and full as the proud mother to two sets (yes, two!) of twin girls, who remind her of the importance of balance, patience, and perspective - not to mention the true meaning of multitasking!
